A Focus on Precision Machining

Spectrum Machine & Design LLC started in 1999 as a cold startup in the South Glastonbury garage of Connie and Gary Poesnecker.  A reputation for innovation and high quality work quickly developed and the business grew rapidly.
The garage was soon outgrown and space was rented and the shop moved to a couple of different locations in Glastonbury over the next twelve years.
Today, the company owns and occupies a 17,000-square-foot modern facility in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The temperature controlled facility includes a selection of state-of-the-art equipment that can produce components to precise standards.

Our Commitment to You

Our customers are the lifeblood of our business and we seek to form a long term relationship that is built upon the highest quality products, timely delivery and proper business ethics.  We understand and value the trust that a customer places with us and will work hard  to maintain the basis of that trust.  We will make every effort to exceed our customers’ expectations.

We purchase new equipment each year that creates additional capacity and capabilities to ensure that we can offer the latest technology and highest efficiency to our customers.  We maintain an extensive array of software and systems that provide the foundation of current technology in the fields of CAD, CAM and MRP.  All systems are maintained and are current to the latest revision.

In a period of deficiency with regard to the availability of skilled individuals, we are able to attract and retain personnel of high caliber and we have an extremely low rate of employee turn-over. We feel very strongly about the work environment that we facilitate and continually work to ensure that we are an organization that values each member for what they contribute and those individuals with the inclination to learn additional skills, are encouraged to do so.  We make an effort to cross-train as many as possible which assists in our ability to respond and have flexibility in the daily operations.
